[edit] Functions of the Star Map
On the starmap you will find several buttons. This section will go over what each button does.
[edit] Sector Map
Main article: Sector Map
To use this button, first, click on a planet. Next, click the "Sector Map" button. This will bring up a listing of the zones of the Sector Map.
[edit] Show Co-Ordinates
This will overlay coordinates onto the map, in an x/y format.
[edit] Borders
Overlays the current borders of the galaxy onto the map and allows for quickly seeing how many planets and how much space is under a faction's influence.
[edit] Standard Jump Routes
Overlays jump routes onto the map, allowing one to see what planets have jump routes to each other.
[edit] Planets Only
Shows only the planets by clearing all overlays, including the hexes that are on the map when you first bring it up.
[edit] Alliances
Displays information on each planet's alliance with your faction. This information is what your faction's current stance(at war, neutral, allied) towards that planet's owner is, and it also shows what faction each planet belongs too.
