BattleMechs of all kinds automatically possess a basic amount of communication equipment. Mech communication suites are an intregal part the the BattleMech cockpit design. Basic designs have the equivilant of 1 ton in communications systems while more elaborate communication, command and control systems can consist of several tons of equipment. Though the complexity of the 'Mech communication suites may vary, they are a required subcomponent to create BattleMech cockpits.
