The Mist Lynx (KOS-D) is a 25 ton Clan light mech. It is also known as the Koshi.

Though rarely seen, Configuration D of the Koshi reportedly carries an Ultra-2 autocannon, a weapon not in wide use among the Clans. Also carrying an extended-range medium and small laser, this version can be more useful than the others in some situations, but those occasions are notoriously difficult to predict.

The Mist Lynx-D can outrange almost every other unit on the battlefield, and is fast and manoeuveurable with its six jumpjets. However, one thing it is not is durable. Its weapons are mounted in the arms, which require only a single large laser hit to utterly destroy them - should an enemy actually get close enough. The Mist Lynx does however have a surprising amount of rear armour, so the designers maybe thought it would be running away regularly.
