The Mist Lynx (KOS) is a 25 ton Clan light mech. It is also known as the Koshi.

In its most common configuration, the Koshi can serve in many roles. Combined with its excellent reconnaissance abilities, it has long-range striking power, a potent short-range weapon, and a machine gun to deal with infantry. This 'Mech's deadly effect on infantry may have been what earned it the name Small Death.

The Mist Lynx is designed as an anti-personnel mech, and is fast and manoeuveurable with its six jumpjets. However, one thing it is not is durable. Its weapons are mounted in the arms, which require only a single Large Laser hit to utterly destroy them. The Mist Lynx does however have a surprising amount of rear armour, so the designers maybe thought it would be running away regularly. Either way it is fairly irrelevant, as without any energy weapon backup, its ammo becomes depleted remarkably quickly.
