The Dire Wolf - ovKhan (KG-DW-OK) is a clan custom 100 ton assault mech originally specific to the Kraken Guard.

Long years of success in mech combat has given Kraken Hazen much insight as to their best configurations, as seen here in a personal command mech. Disdaining the usual Clan ammunition-based mech configurations in favor of an all-energy design, he realized the key to defeating the concentrated-firepower tactics favored by the Inner Sphere pilots was to outrange and outlast them. The Dire Wolf ovKhan variant features quad-mounted ER Large lasers for superior range and a targeting computer to ensure accuracy. Should an enemy be foolish enough to close, it has a blistering array of eight medium pulse lasers to ensure the enemy's destruction. Additionally, it has a flamer for anti-infantry use and an ECM system to foil enemy targeting computers and Artemis systems.

The ovKhan is one of the galaxy's ultimate weapons - effective at all ranges and capable of blasting any opponent to smithereens. Its main armament consists of four (C) ER Large Lasers, with sufficient heatsinks to run and fire them all at once. Should an enemy close in, eight (C) Medium Pulse Lasers take up the slack. With large amounts of armour and an ECM suite, the ovKhan is as well protected as any mech. If it does have a weakness, it is that it is slow at 3/5/0, and lacks jumpjets.
