The Hammer is a type of Inner Sphere 30 ton light mech.

The Hammer was designed by the Free Worlds League to combat the Federated Commonwealth's Valkyrie mech.

There are three designs of Hammer - the 3M, 3P and 3S.
[edit] Hammer-3M
Main article: HMR-3M
The Hammer-3M has two arm-mounted LRM 5s, each with an Artemis IV Fire Control System and 24 rounds of ammo. It also mounts two Medium Lasers in its torso and a third in its head for all-round fire.

Main article: HMR-3P
The Hammer-3P is the most advanced Hammer variant, mounting an ER Medium Laser in each arm, an SRM 4 Streak and Small Pulse Laser in each side torso, and a TAG in the centre torso. The 3P is also the only Hammer to feature Double Heat Sinks.

Main article: HMR-3S
The Hammer-3S is a development of the 3M, moving the LRM racks and FCS into the torsos, and doubling the ammo complement. This does however necessitate the removal of two medium lasers.
