Clan Ice Hellion is one of the Clans of Kerensky and is a crusader clan, whose home world is Hoard in the Kerensky Cluster. The Ice Hellions are a proud clan that value Honor. With a lot of experience on the battlefield and unmatched player camaraderie among clan mates, Ice Hellion is set to become the next big faction in Invasion3042. Clan Ice Hellion is quickly growing and gaining strength as Ice hellion industry dominates the intergalactic markets and Ice Hellion pilots are winning on the battlefield.

[edit] Original formation

Clan Ice Hellion was active in the early 3040s, but became inactive. Few records exist from this time in history. It is known that their original home world was Hector, but that this was lost to Clan Wolf.

[edit] Reformation

The clan returned from inactivity to Hoard in early 3063 under the leadership of Khan mattbuck Fry. In March 3065 the clan was ceded control of Taurus by Clan Star Adder. In September of 3078 control of the clan was passed to Hunter_XMG who remained Khan until 3084 when he passed the position over to Hordwon.

With Khan Hordwon's leadership, Clan Ice Hellion went through a period of rapid growth. The Ice Hellion touman was expanded when a lost gene repository was re-discovered, breathing new life into the Hellions eugenics program. Ice Hellion industries, as a result of the expansion of the clan touman, ramped up clan wide production to compensate. Ice Hellion Battlemechs and Components dominated the intergalactic markets, offering lower prices as Ice Hellion worlds became more and more industrialized.

[edit] The 6th Succession War

Clan Ice Hellions Involvement in the 6th Succession War began when Clan Nova Cat Invaded and conquered the Ice Hellion world of Taurus. In a counter attack spear headed by Clan Snow Raven, Taurus was re-conquered by Ice Hellion, prompting the hellions to seek revenge against the Nova Cats. The Hellions found some (revenge) on planet Warlock where they assisted the Federated Suns in assaulting the planet and removing the Nova Cat presence. Shifting Ice Hellions attention from planet Warlock, Khan Hordwon now leads the Hellions against the Free Worlds League in support of their allies, the Clan Grand Council, and Wolf's Dragoons in a war to reclaim Terra.

[edit] Clan Tactics

The tactics used within the clan vary as many disciplines of combat have been adopted by the Hellions. While The Hellions remain disciplined in there traditional use of light and medium battlemechs, the role of heavy and assault battlemechs is not undervalued as a combination of tactics have proven most effective at defeating their enemies. Other factions can expect to see a wide range of tactics when facing Ice Hellion units in the field.

Clan Ice Hellion declares that they will follow traditional clan zellbrigen upon request when reciprocated by the opposing force, but will not be bound to doing so if foul play is suspected.
