While Invasion3042 is a not for profit game, it does cost money for hardware and bandwidth and therefore relies entirely on the generosity of its players to survive. Donations can be made directly or can be arranged as monthly subscriptions. While many players donate or subscribe simply to show their appreciation and support, there are many in-game benefits for doing so.

When a donation is made, IP are credited to the account, based on this scale:
0-100 AUD 1 Ipoint per $1 AUD
101-150 AUD 1.1 Ipoints per $1 AUD
151-250 AUD 1.3 Ipoints per $1 AUD
251-500 AUD 1.5 Ipoints per $1 AUD
501-1000 AUD 1.7 Ipoints per $1 AUD
1001+ AUD 2 Ipoints per 1$ AUD
(AUD = Australian Dollar)

When a subscription becomes active, Invasion Points are credited to the account each month, as well as Subscription Points which can be allocated on the Infrastructure Tab to increase efficiency. (Maximum 25 subscription points, though more can be subscribed.)

If a player subscribes 10$ AUD or more per month, he or she also gains access to Missions which can significantly add to a player's growth, and Multi Unit Simulations.
