The Arcas (ACS) is a type of Clan 65t heavy mech.

There are two variants of the Arcas.

Main article: ACS-1

The Arcas-1's main weapons are two arm-mounted (C) ER Large Lasers. These are backed up by two torso-mounted (C) Medium Pulse Lasers, and three torso-mounted (C) SRM 4 Steaks. Unfortunately the design suffers from a lack of heatsinks, especially as large lasers plus full jump leaves only one heat remaining. However, the SRM 4 Streaks do alleviate this somewhat, as they don't generate heat if they don't hit.

Main article: ACS-2

The Arcas-2 replaces the arm-mounted large lasers for (C) ER PPCs, and also removes the SRM packs. While this allows a few more heatsinks, it makes the mech less useful at short range.
