Little is known about the past of this empire as it has been passed on and the origional owner, Ambient, has long since left. This empire was passed on to the former owner of 3rd Bears Guard, Antaris, former Khan Clan Ghost Bear.
This empire, with the support of 14th Battle Cluster-Kabrinski's Kodiaks, were all that prevent Clan Ghost Bear from becoming a dead faction after the mass exodus of many players from the clan. (Early Game Year 3070).
In order to become a supporting empire 1st Bears Guard was forced to rebuild many research facilities into commerce to be able to support more military strength and purchase critical minerals and components for the Clan.
Another major factor in this empires past was the attempt to take Hellgate from Clan Snow Raven. However the intervention of Clan Blood Spirit saved the Ravens from being driven from clan space and succeeded in burning the foot hold that the Bears had obtained. This led to the destruction of a large portion of the 1st's military, costing the empire in resources in order to replenish its losses
