A reminder to all players that if a battle goes over 250 phases it will end with all units being put into the same hex on Ai and it resolving that way.
A reminder on the new invasions, they do time out, there is a maximum length of time on them, and all battles take place before that time expires.
Combat stats and the units lost in wars log have now been fixed for new invasions, they will add kills to your empire, accrue warpoints and show in the appropriate history.
There will be some periods of downtime over the next couple of weeks as i update a lot of database tables with some updated mech data correcting god knows how many errors in the mechs database, i cant give you a specific time this will happen as its based around whenever i manage to find some spare time.
A huge thank you to Vega for some tireless work he has done over the last 12 months on painstakingly going through our mechs and correcting any flaws or issues. If you see him in chat, please make a point of thanking him, he has done the game and all of us a huge service.
Also ive done a significant amount of analysis on the new invasion system and thus far i have to say i am very happy with it, from all the feedback i have received id like to suggest that its been a huge success, offering players a vastly superior experience. As such, i have now begun removing the old invasion system and streamlining the new invasions processes. – thanks to everyone who has helped me out with tests and issues, if you do see any please do not hesitate to open a ticket.
