Some more changes to the new invasion stuff, thanks heaps to everyone is participating, its a load of fun so far, some great invasion underway, and lots of battles. Also a big heads up for the largest invasion in the games history underway with around 2 million BV in action, i bet the salvage monkeys are licking their lips over this one.
I have enabled the new invasions on the war world and also transit off the warworld again, so players can test out the new invasions if they wish.
We are looking at having another series of conventions either late this year or early/mid next year, and in a few locations, probablya couple in the USA and a stop in the UK, at the minute its very pie in the sky, but it would be great to get an idea of support for this, if you see us in chat and you would love to attend, let us know.
The cancel invasions button is now also enacted, this will cancel an invasion and the defender will win.
Winning and Losing an invasion, we’ve put a lot of thought into this and the following will apply next update 3.02: If the defender loses, any troops that remain after the battle will be able to escape at the rate of 15% per battle won by the defender, that means if you win say 3 battles each unit has a 45% chance to escape, winning 7 battles would allow each unit a 100% chance to escape.
Now risk to the attacker, if the attacker launches an invasion and Loses, his forces escape at a rate of 20% per battle won, this is higher as the attackers units are ready to go at a moments notice, so theoretically if its a close run thing, he can escape with all his units.
Units that do not escape from either side are utterly destroyed and offer no salvage, nor do they count for anyones stats.
Fixed several other ongoing bugs, as always, if you see any issues please do not hesitate in opening a bug ticket.
